Yo dawg. I heard you like Minecraft
- brucethemoose2 3y agoWhy can't a whole OS just actually be Minecraft? The literacy rate for Minecraft's UI is already extremely high.
- collinalexbell 3y agoCodeblocks, but each block is a file or a function or an object.
- xeonmc 3y agoMinecraft also teaches the next generation to think in the Metric system. “How big is one meter?” “It’s one Minecraft block wide.” “Oh, that’s easy to remember.”
- KomoD 3y agoSo what is this actually? Any more info
- robswc 3y agoSame, not sure I understand lol It looks _very cool_ but not sure what I'm actually looking at. Looks like a VR thing but the user isn't using a HMD...

- collinalexbell 3y agoIt is a 3d window manager I built in C++
- willio58 3y agoI guess I don't understand what's happening here. I get the meme, minecraft in minecraft. But is it just piping through another minecraft process to a flat object in the world? I find displays and processors built from redstone to be much more interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ti75U2Y913E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ti75U2Y913E Still cool either way though!
- askiiart 3y agoMore interestingly, a while back I found a Minecraft mod that lets you run virtual machines in Minecraft by connecting to VirtualBox, IIRC.
