The difference is that those media outlets for men are usually independent small businesses run by a handful of people and not giant corporate media entities backed by large corporate advertisers. There isn't a single male-oriented media outlet on television and largely because men aren't giving television their attention. Edit: I'm talking about news/quasi-news media like the sites mentioned, so don't come back to me with "duh, sports"
