There is advice from DHH and Jason Fried I believe. Before you hire start doing that job yourself to understand it and hire only if you are sure you have to hire someone. If it is only you then get at least one other smart person to share the job and go from there. If you hire 5 people and take them “just do it” you can as well give me your money or to any other random person effect will be the same.
