- dpflan 3y agoAlso, the main site is solid: https://hu.ma.ne/ https://hu.ma.ne/ -- quite the domain setup.
- baerrie 3y agoThe learn more page breaks for me on scroll on chrome and ios though :(
- tromp 3y agoUsing the top level domain .ne for Niger [1]. [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.ne https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.ne The other parts hu/ma happen to be TLDs for Hungary and Morocco.
- barbazoo 3y agowhat could go wrong :)
- perihelions 3y agoWait, who even is in control of that ccTLD right now? That government was just violently overthrown. That Wikipedia page (.ne) hasn't been edited since the July 2023 coup d'état, so I doubt it describes the current status of things.
- SushiHippie 3y agohttps://www.iana.org/whois?q=ne https://www.iana.org/whois?q=ne
- pradn 3y agoFrom the WHOIS for the NE ccTLD: domain: NE organisation: SONITEL address: Rue de l'Uranium address: Niamey 208 address: Niger (the) Quite an address!
- dpflan 3y agowow: "Rue de l'Uranium"
- maronato 3y agoThere’s only one Top Level Domain (.ne) ma.ne is the domain and hu. is just a subdomain. No relation with Hungary and Morocco
- tromp 3y agoHence my phrasing "using the TLD" versus "happen to be TLDs"...
- dang 3y agoComments moved thither. Thanks!
