Similar to op, I won't buy a 16:9 laptop anymore. It can be 1920x1200, though, that's still sufficient for smaller laptops.
- redundantly 3y ago1920x1200 is 16:10. Huge difference from 16:9, amazingly enough.
- giancarlostoro 3y agoInteresting, I have been stuck in 1080p land so I have not tried 1200, maybe if I get the chance I'll check that resolution out. I am debating making a small jump to "2k" since its between 4K and 1080p, but I get the feeling those monitors are not quite as common as the other two resolutions, and I'm not sure if it'll be truly worth it. This is in terms of a desktop, not a laptop, but I could see the argument for 1920x1200 for a laptop, seems more reasonable to me.
