Just because there isn't transport encryption does mean you can't encryption messages.
Surely criminal networks will just pre-encrypt content with some side loaded app?
- seanw444 3y agoThat's exactly what will happen. Unencrypted by default, so that the people that really need encryption (criminals) will still be able to do it, and people that are most deserving of encryption (normal citizens) will be too lazy or too uninformed to do it themselves. Now they can spy on 99.9% of the population, and they didn't actually achieve their apparent goal.
