- foco_tubi 3y agoIn this vein, a CRISPR-edited stem cell therapy for Sickle Cell Disease is nearing approval, providing at very least a "durable long-term remission from disease." Multi-million dollar bone marrow transplants will be unnecessary and treatment costs will decrease by ~80%.
