There's almost no reason to buy a new one. I don't game or do anything particularly demanding on my phone (that's what my desktop or Steam Deck is for), my phone mainly just exists to rent-seek for the myriad of essential services we've decided need to be phone-only experiences. Aside: I absolutely loathe how much stuff these days requires a phone to use.
