We have progressive income tax, why not progressive anti-encryption law? E.g. the more money and power you have the less you get to use encryption.
- rpigab 3y agoYes, this was my thoughts too, since this is pushed by politicians, they should roll out the end of encryption to their phones first, and if in 10 years we uncover no new sex scandals or other big scandals about them, it means that having no encryption is perfectly fine. If they want encryption but with a backdoor, just send the master key to a bunch of random citizens for monitoring. In my case, I'm French, so they won't last a week like this. Don't give felon politicians a place to hide.
