Instead, call your parents, the people you care about, and get them to spend time with you. Send them postcards, and make them know you genuinely care. Meta even lets you download Messenger without Facebook. The same is true for Whatsapp. Just use them for communication if you must. There's no reason why anybody needs social media on their phone or in their life.
