The worst example of the Github problem shown here, in my opinion is illustrated by the changes that Apple has made to its window design over the last few versions of MacOS. Previously the top of a window, with all of its control was easily distinguishable. In today's incarnation - presumably in the cause of elegance and minimalism, it is really hard sometimes tio distinguish the top of the window chrome from its contents. For me this becomes a problem when I'm working with a mess of overlapping windows. I cannoy tell you the number of times I've tried to click on a window, only to find that I've actually clicked the window behind and above it. Irksome.
