You are bringing an interesting point (and with your permission maybe I can update in few days when I have time this article with your data point) about increased number of downloads in weekends. If there are spikes during the weekends then I don't think we can count them on companies running CI/CD pipelines. Regarding the reduction in growh over the few months, I think that is a hard to assess on such a lower scale. I think only in 6 months to 1 year we can look back at this period and see if the trend is going down or not. I am also biased :) because I like Ruby and I am in general an optimistic person.
