- autoexec 3y agoI remain skeptical, but the EFF supports the bill, as does the ACLU. I hope that I'm surprised and it passes intact and actually accomplishes what it sets out to do.
- crotchfire 3y agoThe point is that it passes intact, or not at all. > The GSRA is currently the only bill in Congress that could reauthorize the 702 statute that’s set to expire by the end of the year. If this bill is defeated no other bill will be put to a vote before the deadline. Ron Wyden knows that time is on his side. In a game of "who can hold their breath longer" the spooks will pass out first.
