You can read the original text here: https://thehill.com/opinion/technology/4287616-elon-musks-immoral-dangerous-failing-experiment-in-free-speech/ https://thehill.com/opinion/technology/4287616-elon-musks-im... While I don't really care much what happens on twitter, Elon Musk is a great example of why censorship is always a problem. Musk has claimed to support free speech, but he has no problems censoring or trying to silence what he doesn't like. All censors abuse their power eventually. Free speech is critical to freedom and democracy and the farther any platform stays from free speech the more dangerous and manipulative it will become.
- g42gregory 3y agoI think even in a free speech, as an owner of the platform, you have to draw the line somewhere. I think the good line is: nothing illegal or incitement of violence. I think that's petty much where Elon stands. Now, X's CEO clearly has other ideas, so we will see a bifurcation periodically. I personally think that it's best to police "the tone", but leave the topics completely open.

I'd agree that you've found a good standard, but I'd disagree that Elon feels the same way. At least not when it comes to tweets about where his private jet has been going or youtube videos about problems with Tesla's autopilot.
