- DonHopkins 3y agoOne taco short of a combination plate.
- davidw 3y ago"A few fries short of a happy meal"
- forty 3y agoIn french, we have "they are not not the sharpest knives of the drawer" but my favorite one is "he is not the penguin who slides the furthest" :D On the light related ones, I only know "they are not lights" which is a bit to bare bones to my taste, but works well in french
- lobochrome 3y agoI hope I can remember that one.
- steanne 3y ago"they are not bright" is common in english
- the-smug-one 3y agoWe have the knife in the drawer one in Swedish too. My favourite one is "The wheel is spinning but the hamster is dead" however.
- Gibbon1 3y agoThat feels a lot like 'the lights are on but nobody is home'
- littlestymaar 3y ago> but my favorite one is "he is not the penguin who slides the furthest" :D Did you too learned that one in the related thread on /r/France last year[1]? Or was it something that you heard IRL?
