Very hard to always be grant driven. That is a massive burden.

    We had a startup that ran out of income generating projects / sales. We tried to bridge the gap - extend our runway with research grants. We got some money, and were successful in some smaller grants. It was necer enough to let us breathe and relax. In the end the business failed when the money was out.
