- epi0Bauqu 15y agoI am. Are you (collectively) against all dark versions or just this one, because I've been trying to tweak it incrementally for readability. If you have any specific improvement suggestions, I'm happy to try them.

- PStamatiou 15y agoMy thoughts on that matter.. http://blog.picplum.com/startups-dont-host-your-blog-on-tumblr/ http://blog.picplum.com/startups-dont-host-your-blog-on-tumb...
- swombat 15y agoFunny, I host GrantTree's blog on tumblr and I've never had a single "page failed to load" issue. I just sat now and refreshed it 20 times and each time loaded promptly. Perhaps there's something else wrong with your tumblr setup?
- ig1 15y agoI frequently see tumblr pages failing to load
- PStamatiou 15y agoI just tried to load it and got this http://dl.dropbox.com/u/186198/Screenshots/9vbm.png http://dl.dropbox.com/u/186198/Screenshots/9vbm.png
- swombat 15y agoStrange... maybe it's a US-only issue with their load balancers?

- mryan 15y agoPerhaps the comment text could be slightly larger, but as light-on-dark themes go I find your blog very readable. > Yes, there is some real bias against single founders when > it comes to fund raising, though it's not impossible. Do you think this bias has grown in the two years since you posted this?
- epi0Bauqu 15y agoI don't perceive much difference in the bias. I'm guessing if anything it's gone down though.
- ed209 15y ago@Gabriel, here's some css that makes it readable for me http://pastebin.com/XKQSC2z9 http://pastebin.com/XKQSC2z9 (just a 5 minute hack) It's hard going from light text on black back to most other sites as you end up having those lines in your eyes where the white writing has burnt it into your retina!
- epi0Bauqu 15y agoThanks -- will mess around with this -- appreciate it!
- goblin89 15y agoIf you're on a Mac, hit Ctrl-Alt-Cmd-8 to invert contrast and enjoy. =) (Personally I find the site pretty readable as it is, typography is OK so inverse contrast isn't really distracting, although it might be just me.)
- nanijoe 15y agoThanks for the tip...I usually have a hard time reading white on black websites, and this little tip makes a big difference
- ballstothewalls 15y agoIm not really a fan of browser add-ons but this one is a Godsend: http://www.readability.com/ http://www.readability.com/ It gets rid of anything that isnt pertinent to the article and allows you to customize viewing conditions.
- br0ke 15y agoWith firefox, view->page style->no style
