Stripe shut down our business before it started
As a background, we have built automated marketing solution for other startups and we collect 10% commission from the users we bring to other companies
We have signed up for Stripe on Oct 6, had a call with Stripe sales to see the best integration type would fit our business model and they recommended Stripe Standard Connect and use application fee feature to collect our fees
After our team finished the integration we went live and before we earned our first $100, Stripe shut down our account saying "high-risk" of disputes despite having 0 disputes, we appealed and it automatically said "account will remain closed". Few days later, they emailed saying it was a mistake by the system and they re-enabled our account
I asked our team to reintegrate Stripe again to make sure we did not make any technical mistakes causing this issue somehow, our team said it cannot be due to technical issue but they integrated again and we went live again.
And guess what happened?
Right before we got our first $100, we got closed again and all our payouts has been reversed and they closed our connected account as well for "fraud" with 0 disputes just like they did last time
How anyone is even able to build business with Stripe? Am I the only one having this issue?
Stripe team please check my account (acct_1NyIcmItbV4B1gP4) and help me out, either re-enable our account and explain what is going on and why this keeps happening or explain what terrible mistake we could have made to have our account closed and all connected accounts closed
- plz-remove-card 3y agoMaybe (and I am just totally speculating here) the customers that you're interacting with have a history of fraud and since they're one of the first customer you're interacting with that is making your account seem suspicious.
- keytousersg 3y agowe tried with 2 customers (connected accounts) and both got blocked for fraud. I do not think it can be from customers
