I was under the impression that Atlantis had to be further west towards Spain as it was something of a gateway to the Mediterranean.
- regularfry 3y agoIt is in the right place to be a "gateway to the Mediterranean" if you're coming south from the Aegean. If you squint a bit.

- tgv 3y agoJust like someone had very convincing evidence that Delphi was actually Delft, in The Netherlands. I can't find any reference to it anymore, but he published a book. Odysseus apparently traveled the North Sea, or something silly like that. - pard68 3y agoMakes sense if true. The Norse were renown in the Arabian and Rome as excellent mercenaries. I suspect travel northward occurred as well.
- ffgjgf1 3y agoAnd Hogwarts was supposed to be in the Highlands of Scotland. Yet the actual castle shown in the movies is in Northern England.
