I have had many issues with Manjaro that turned out to be Manjaro specifc in the past, because they messed with the package or because I needs something from the AUR. I run CachyOS now, and that kind of thing doesn't happen anymore. But yeah, you are right. TBH I dont game on Linux on my machine because its not worth the trouble or (in some cases) the performance hit vs Windows 11.
