Before buying a coffee shop, work in one. I think it’s pleasant but not everyone does.

- timeagain 3y agoAs one myself, all the time. When it’s busy obviously not, but there is lots of downtime. The reality of the situation though is that if OP were to run a shop he would be very busy with logistics, hiring, keeping up with market changes, coordinating with other owners in the area, keeping the place up to code… I think owning a coffee shop for the community is a much more achievable and realistic goal than moving to the country to farm, but it smells of the same kind of “grass is greener” energy.
