Personally, I like the calendar with twelve 30-day months and 6-day weeks, with an additional "new year" holiday 5-6 day quasi-month. You get equal quarters, sane numbering inside "working" months, and leap days stay inside holiday quasi-month.
- ramraj07 3y agoWhy is a 6 day week preferable? Except maybe to better organize gym routines?
- fuoqi 3y agoBecause you get exactly 5 weeks inside a month. We could use six 5-day weeks instead, but I think that having an even number of days in a week is convenient in many cases (gym routines is one such example). Also, with 6-day weeks, the quasi-month will not be longer than a week, so "holiday month's Monday/Sunday" will be unambiguous.
- mlok 3y agoWhat would the 2-days weekend become in a 6-days week ?
- fuoqi 3y agoIf an economy is advanced enough to allow it, it would stay 2-day weekend with 4 working days. I think it would be more balanced than the 4-day workweek which slowly gets traction today.
