Bull. Folks have increasingly stopped going to the doctor due to abusive copays, "coinsurance", and other such nonsense. Medical bankruptcies are still way too high in the US and still remain the primary cause of bankruptcy. Primary care doctors and nurses have burned out, retired early, or are barely hanging on since the Covid years. We don't have nearly enough medical professionals coming through the pipeline to replace the ones we've lost let alone grow to a reasonable proportion of the population. Things are going to get a lot worse very soon without radical action.
