the cynics was right again, the "self driving" was a scam the whole time. And its a real tragedy because there'd have been a market for "remote controlled cars," there was no need to taint the space with overblown claims other than "get that investor money first." Personally, I do not want to own a vehicle that has the physical capability of remote / autonomous control of any aspect of its operation. It is a complete mystery to me why others do not have the same reservations.
