I rarely write code after work for my own use. or others. I spend time with my family. A family that started by me realizing there was more to life than billing clients 14 hours a day. It's ok to not be building some new thing in your off hours. That's a choice they made for their own reasons. Doing what you do is also a choice and both are valid.
