Yeah, sounds like that company's wifi on their chargers has this SSID. I hope they're not relying on a 'secret' SSID as the sole security mechanism, assuming it to be safe because nobody can enter it manually since it's not ASCII characters.

> sole security mechanism I doubt it. Just a well-known name to get on the same network to auth some more. Rememebr payment will have to be handled during this at somepoint so trust me, they won't forget to figure out who to bill. I'd imagine these would be supporting more than just Tesla vehicles so you already have a possible adversarial relationship with its users.
