Codon recoding could "encrypt" cells, preventing transmission of viruses
- al2o3cr 3y agoIf the new codons are "functionally equivalent", why would they affect viral transmission? If they're functionally-different enough to block virus transmission, what would ensure they're still compatible with normal cellular operation?
- gus_massa 3y agoIgnoring the cost and the huge technical problems... To reproduce you need someone with the same code, otherwise the mixed DNA in the cells of your children will not work.
