Now ask: why are private residences almost always equipped with closed front seats? Do people truly prefer them? Or is it an artificial differences promulgated to give an excuse for charging 3x the price for the type required by law in public?
- 8chanAnon 3y agoOne of the mysteries of life. I don't think people actually prefer them but perhaps they find the closed front more esthetic. Just one example of appearance holding more value than utility. I'm not bothered about toilet seats. I would like to see a discussion about this: toasters that do a piss poor job of making toast because they are designed to fit bagels. Dries out the toast and wastes electricty. Can't find a toaster that is made for only toast.
