Seems like pretty good feedback. Go's constraints are a huge feature in that it makes everyone's code look the same. It makes developing kubernetes itself not intimidating. At first, I thought submitting PRs to kubernetes core projects was insane - like working on the kernel, not something one can 'just do', but then I read the kubernetes code and was like "wow. I get it. I can fix this bug/add this feature.", and I think that's largely due to how simple Go is.
