U.S., European officials broach topic of peace negotiations with Ukraine
- qp11 3y agoHave to admit, I got a bit carried away by all the banter about how this tank or that plane or AI was going to change the whole game. Also after the crappy show by the Russians at the beginning didnt expect things to last long.
- hackandthink 3y agoDrumming up support for war is fun and sells well. Who is prepared to sacrifice political capital for a dirty peace? Sombody should do it.
- TheLoafOfBread 3y agoAnother Chamberlain, because that peace won't last. That's basically given.
- hackandthink 3y agoYou have to compromise. The Ukrainian army alone cannot win and the Western powers are not willing to deploy their own troops. Western politicians like to play heroes as long as their lives are not at stake.
