Wow, nine hours and no comments. I wonder what would happen to the military budget if we cut the number of bases by half in each country. And if we did that, would it reduce the effectiveness in any of the regions where we have military bases?
The ways out of our budgetary conflict in the House is to move toward a balanced budget. We can raise corporate taxes at a time of record profits. Unlikely with the current makeup. We can cut entitlements. Never going to happen. We can cut the military budget. It is bleeding us dry.
- justsomehnguy 3y agoThe more amusing fact is what US Army has more people in it than the amount of people in many countries, despite not even having a land border with any country what could be designated as hostile nor there are any country in the world what can even think about having a land war with the US on the US' territory. And this is the US Army only, not including Navy or Air Force.
