My super old hp elitebook from 2015 was a piece of shit and yet had to trouble driving two external monitors This is arbitrary market segmentation. I need two external monitors mostly because I share the same single cable to my dock with work and because macOS is so stupid about monitors it randomly connects to one or the other, not both. So I have to manually power off the wrong monitor each time and turn it on for work. Really annoying.
