  I would bet on Mozilla doing anything that doesn't involve fixing bugs in Firefox.

  Honestly, for this one? I'd bet slightly more optimistically than normal, simply because it's not a service/product Mozilla themselves are launching. They're merely becoming part of the Fediverse, which isn't dependent on them or their management/strategy.

  As a FF user since beta, definitely bet against them. Top brass is truly incompetent there.
