The killer feature is that ChatGPT fixes the pronoun problem that caused the Reinstate Monica stuff and moderators leaving, by not having humans directly involved in answering questions, that's something SO can't fix. ChatGPT accepts to be addressed using any pronoun and will gladly address you using pronouns, emojis or typographic symbols if you ask it to.

Not surprising either, every front-end modernization effort I’ve been part of was vanity projects for new leadership wanting to make their mark- nothing to do with improving anything. Either that, or they had no better ideas on what to work on.
