I went through this rabbit hole about 2 years ago. I assembled 2 versions of also 34 keys designs, split, low profile keyboards. That helped a lot with my RSI but eventually my thumb got stressed since is constantly requested for the layers. I eventually assembled a design with a few more keys, pretty similar to the Voyager.
