YouTube Premium Price Hike – Ouch
- Reubend 3y agoWow, that's a big increase. Seems like this doesn't affect customers in the USA, who already had a price increase earlier in the year.
- nine_zeros 3y agoHere's the thing about subscriptions - if it gets too expensive rent I'm going to cancel it. I did this with cable in the past and I will do it with premium subscriptions.
- thejazzman 3y agoBut then they'll have SALES where you get to lock in a lower rate for X time etc etc etc it all just keeps repeating (Fully agree with you!)

- kderbyma 3y agoI hate to say it....but they are doing what we in Canada have suffered from cable companies and telecoms....they are colluding in secret to price fix with their competition as they are all splintering out and cannot maintain adequate 'growth trajectories' .....
- windex 3y agoAnd people act surprised when Piracy starts ticking up. Most subscription services are tending towards cable in pricing with less convenience.
