Tbh. There are multiple objective reasons for me why they don't. 2 outages in the last week is 1 objective reason why they do, though. The first one did get fixed in 30 minutes, which is probably some sort of record. I can't remember where any other cloud provider updated their status page even within 30 minutes ( or they hid it within their authenticated environment)
