But it has to be asked: if people had been given a choice, and if they knew then what we now know (i.e., that pretty much everyone at No 10 was either wilfully or passively ignoring guidance, and instead spending their time drinking and partying), would they have decided differently?
Not so much to the Boris question (though it's a good one), but to the wider topic.
