Hmm. I wonder how a violin made out of hyperdense wood would sound like, especially if you used a custom mold for each section so that it was perfectly fitted together? Or maybe the front plate of an acoustic guitar? I bet the density would mute the highs a little but then the rigidity would increase the overall projection.
