Large corporations often do have a private police force outright. They can control existing police forces as well via funding and influence. Same with judicial systems. Please google Corporatocracy... it's just obvious when you put some thought into it, an organization that has so much control over your life and is governing people is a government, and therefore large corporations can be a form of government. And like, have you never read dystopian fiction in your entire life? Pretty much every society in dystopian fiction is governed by corporations, so it seems like there exists a failure of imagination on your part as well..
