I don’t want my taxes to pay for your children. If you have children, that’s your burden.
- Argonaut998 3y agoTaxes pay for all sorts of things that ‘we don’t like’. It’s a benign statement. Certainly, paying taxes for daycare is more fruitful for the country as a whole rather than paying taxes for welfare for those who do not work (yet have many children) — a huge net negative for society, and of course taxes for waging war which you don’t seem to bat an eye at.
- claudiulodro 3y agoToday's children will be enabling your future retirement. You're going to be their burden, whether it's paying for your social security or keeping the value of your stocks high.
