Travel Weather Map – Seasonal weather at a glance
- jaysquared 3y agoI built it for a quick overview where you can travel in a certain month. I found a global data set with 3500 locations. The main challenge was to filter this data. One approach was to get the number of hotels in a certain radius via Amadeus and filter out all locations with less than 3 hotels. I put it quite low as I didn't want to filter out too much. I also manually checked all locations for duplicates and assigned the correct Google Flights location to include a quick link to a flight search. Hopefully this is also helpful for you and I appreciate any feedback.

- jaysquared 3y agoThanks. I reduced the elements to the absolute minimum. No filters, just interacting with the map. It’s built with GatsbyJs. Really happy with that framework to build prerendered webapps.
- jaysquared 3y agoIf anybody could help with tresholds on rainfall and raindays to define a rainy season, it would be much appreciated.
