  That takes two files as input, don’t you have to checkout, copy etc manually? Whereas (IIUC) in the article git runs a text dump on both dbs automatically during git diff, which is an insane UX improvement. (Given that you’re like me and didn’t know about this).

    True, I suppose the utility is slightly different. The trick in the OP article is definitely neat.

    You can probably configure git to use this tool when it diffs sqlite files.
