Auto execs are coming clean: EVs aren't working
- underseacables 3y agoIn someways, the established automakers have a vested interest in the failure of EVs. With so much invested in ICE vehicles, supply chains, dealerships, all of that designed to make money, I can see why they might be rejoicing a little bit.
- jaggs 3y agoThere is a current trend of this sort of negative spin on EV technology in general. I wonder what or who is behind it? It's very mysterious. (Hint: follow the money?)
- brucethemoose2 3y ago> I wonder what or who is behind it? Not everything is a majority conspiracy. This feels more like a self perpetuating business meme, kinda like "work from home is bad," propelled by grains of truth. And its not surprising that so few people are buying their $80K+ mega EVs. Someone pointed out to me that there is like 1 plug in hybrid (an EV drivetrain with a generator, as opposed to a full ICE type-hybrid) being sold in the US. That's insane.
