It's a shame that LinkedIn has managed to thrive. I deleted my account fifteen years ago, infuriated by their spammy, underhanded bullshit, hoping I'd never have to think about them again. Alas, they just won't go away; I fear that someday they might actually become as essential a job-hunting tool as they like to pretend they are. With any luck, I'll manage to retire first.
