It somehow manages to provoke false rage at Google while attempting to sympathize with every actual charlatan that's the reason for SEO spam on the internet. The Verge needs to look at problems with better lenses than "big company bad, individual people good". But then again, when all you have is a hammer I guess everything looks like a nail.
