What's illegitimate, and what's unenforceable?
- infamouscow 3y agoGeneral strikes are illegal in the US. Also, laws are merely words printed on paper, not spells that magically compel people to follow them like some believe. The thing about a general strike is it's everybody, including the police unions that would otherwise be enforcing the law.
- aksss 3y agoSo it would be unenforceable because the enforcers would be on strike, right? But what's illegitimate about Taft Hartly though? I guess I read your statement as saying that the law as written is illegal or unconstitutional. Curious about the reasoning there. Is it an appeal to natural rights?
