Just switch to FreeTube, or NewPipe/LibreTube if on Android. For Youtube Music there's Harmony or ViMusic. Edit: also LibRedirect is a useful extension.

- LikesPwsh 3y agoThose are just as adversarial as adblockers. If Google ever makes a serious attempt at breaking compatibility like they're doing now (or we've seen from reddit/twitter), you'll see degraded ux.
- GuB-42 3y agoThese apps still play the same cat and mouse game as uBlock and the likes. We don't know how long these will last. YouTube is getting more aggressive against these too, and youtube-dl.
