Oh man, finding django-db-log was a game changer for me. The "errors as emails" was nice, but it didn't scale well when you had a number of Django sites to support. Having historical data about errors made my code so much tighter. Plus it reminded me of something I had built in ASP (god help us all) years before but hadn't figured out how to replicate well in Django.
