Poll: When should a developer resume be more than one page?
As a hiring manager, I have my own opinions on this, but would love to get feedback from the community. I'm giving a workshop on resumes to college students, so I want to get some more general feedback. (Note: HN seems to randomize poll answer order... the order you see isn't necessarily the one I set... also, by default, every answer gets one point)
- catlover76 3y agoI mean, certainly not for college students, that's for sure.
- frou_dh 3y agoIsn't it like a bit like in clothing asking "Who can pull off this outfit?". Someone can pull off an N page resume if they can actually write well and present relevant information in an engaging way. Someone else with the same YoE might not be able to.
